I’m AJ Walker. I am in Port Macquarie, about forty minutes south of you, and I build websites for the businesses up the Macleay.
A smaller shire is an advantage, if you use it
Kempsey Shire is about thirty and a half thousand people, and its three biggest employers are health care, retail, and education and training. It is a smaller market than Port Macquarie, and most people treat that as a disadvantage.
It is the opposite. In a town this size there is often only one or two of you doing what you do, and there is a real chance that not one of you has a website worth the name. Whoever fixes that first stops splitting the search results with everybody else — and in a small market that lead tends to stick, because there is nobody with a marketing budget coming along behind you to take it back.
That is worth more here than it is in a city, and it costs the same either way.
No client logos on this page, and that is deliberate. Walker Works is new. I would rather say so than fill the page with stock photos and testimonials I wrote myself. The exact build and the exact price are below instead.

What the three pages would actually say
Say you are a builder in Kempsey doing renovations, decks and the occasional new build.
Home. Your licence number on the page — not buried in a footer, on the page. What you take on and what you do not. How far out you are booked, honestly. The number.
Services. Renovations, extensions, decks, bathrooms, sheds. One paragraph each, and a straight answer on how you quote and what a quote costs.
Our Work. Four or five jobs with photos and one line of plain description each. In a shire this size your reputation already travels by word of mouth — the site's job is to back it up for the person who was given your name and wants to check you before they ring.
Your domain goes in your name, against your ABN, from day one. Not mine. If you ever want someone else to look after the site, you take the domain and go — you do not have to ask me, and you do not have to buy it back.
