Walker Works is one person. Andrew Walker. Twenty-plus years operating in high-pressure service environments across three continents, currently running a regional service business in Port Macquarie, and consulting for established operators worldwide who want their digital side caught up with what their operation is already doing.
I'm not an agency. I'm not a marketing person. I've spent my working life inside service operations — running rooms full of people, managing the unpredictable, handling the things that go wrong, and making sure paying customers leave better than they arrived. That's the lens I bring to every consulting engagement.
Right now I'm running All Care Property Management in Port Macquarie — a regional lawn, grounds, and property maintenance business serving residential and commercial clients across the mid-north coast. I do the quoting, the work, and the customer relationships personally. That's a real operator's vantage point on what digital expansion actually requires when you're the person whose phone keeps ringing.
Before that — and alongside it — I've spent two decades in venue management, customs, and front-line operations across Australia and the UK. The thread through all of it is the same: keep complex service running smoothly, read people accurately, anticipate what's about to happen, and leave situations squared away.
In rough chronological order. Plain dates and plain descriptions. No status claims — these are the rooms I've stood in.
None of that makes me a credentialed marketing strategist or a tradie. It does make me an operator who's stood in busy rooms, made fast decisions under pressure, and learned how regional service businesses actually run.
I deliver what was scoped, on time, to the standard you'd expect. No padding hours, no scope creep without a quote, no surprise invoices.
Source code, brand assets, accounts. Everything transfers on completion. No platform lock, no migration penalty, no dependency on me after handover.
No marketing-speak, no agency jargon, no "we leverage synergies." If I can't explain it simply, I don't understand it well enough to charge you for it.
If Walker Works isn't right for your operation, I'll tell you on the first call before anyone wastes time. Recommendation given, no sales pitch.
You commission work when you need it. You pay for what you commission. Relationship grows because the work is good, not because you're locked in.
You know your operation better than I ever will. My job is to translate what's already there into a digital presence that fits. Not to tell you how to run your business.
The plain, declarative, no-ornament voice that runs through every Walker Works engagement is older than English. It has been used by people doing serious work under load for as long as people have written. Marcus Aurelius wrote his Meditations in army tents at night while running the Roman Empire — for himself, in the same register, with no audience in mind. The register is not invented here. It is inherited from operators who came before, recovered and made portable.
